Warehouse Operative Technician - 6 Month Fixed Term Contract (starting February 2026)
Salary: £24,500 - £27,000 per year (dependent on experience)
Hours of Work: 8:30am - 17:30pm (hours may vary due to nature of business)
(This is a remote location so you must hold a valid UK drivers licence and access to own vehicle)
Working with the operations and warehouse team at our West Berkshire site, you will be integral to all operations and distribution operations - contributing to many key daily processes, from the physical manufacturing process and maintenance of the equipment, all the way to loading and shipping. You will also take on projects and developments that improve and enhance your personal progression as well as the team, and processes, you will be involved in.
This includes but is not limited to; Ensuring safe, efficient, and effective packing turnaround which meets company standards. Upholding standards throughout the warehouse and distribution processes. Co-ordinating materials for production, ensuring stock is stored safely and accurately, planning storage and seasonal distribution, picking/packing and coordinating internal and outgoing consignments, completing appropriate paperwork/records and undertaking projects.

- Work within the manufacturing and distribution teams to ensure safe, efficient, and effective production and distribution turnaround which meets company standards
- Taking part in regular stock checking and site maintenance, including equipment and key facilities
- Ensuring our customer orders are met to our high standards of quality
- Reporting any out of spec products/machinery issues/non-conformances to Line Manager promptly and helping to resolve
- Ensuring Health & Safety guidelines/procedures are being adhered to at all times, reporting near misses & any accidents or incidents when they occur and formulating action plans to minimise
- Completing appropriate paperwork and records, ensuring high levels of accuracy
- Undertaking development projects relating to operations
- Communicating with the team to identify stock shortfalls and daily challenges
- Loading and unloading incoming and outgoing haulage
- Deliver a desire to keep improving and developing the current procedures
- Attend key training opportunities that benefit your position

- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Adapt with Microsoft programs: Teams, Excel, Outlook
- Experience or knowledge of warehouse and distribution operations
- Counterbalance forklift truck OR a pivot steer forklift truck license/experience
- ADR awareness trained would be beneficial
